This cache is part of the larger IssaQuest Sustainability GeoTour. Sasquatch has helped plant trees and support other restoration projects with Green Issaquah and other partners. The City and partners have hosted several public restoration events along Tibbets Creek at the Anthology Open Space. In 2024, volunteers planted over 60 native trees and shrubs in the area. This trail connects to the REI Headquarters building which incorporates nature-based and sustainable building such as a cross-laminated timber roof, top-floor ceiling, soffits, and a glass-enclosed stairway fronting I-90. The building’s interior includes light fixtures made of recycled cardboard as well as bike lockers and showers for pedaling commuters. Sasquatch reminds visitors to please stay on the trail in this area and leave no trace!
