This is a cache for my mom, 1611sld, whose Geocaching icon is a moose. She became a member of Geocaching in December 2013, about three weeks after me. I got into Geocaching through my good buddy, gettinlate, a Geocaching member since July 2013. 1611sld has since blown past myself and gettinlate in terms of finds, but each of us has her beat in terms of hides. She’s found caches in Florida, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Louisiana, Arizona, New York, Massachusetts, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Uzbekistan, India and South Africa. We usually go on a mega-caching day together (with the recent addition of my bride, SparkPlug205) the day after Christmas. She’s always up for caching, and if ever asked, “Can we get just one more?” the answer is always “YES!”
