Geocache Description:

Another holiday season in the books, and once again you got things you got no use for.   All these years, and your people still haven't figured it out.  Batteries, cache containers, log books, gloves.   That's what a geocacher needs.   But no...

Well, this is your chance to “RE-GIFT” that White Elephant item to your "Geo-Friends".

Come visit with caching friends and share your Holiday and Geocaching stories.

Saturday January 11th, 2024      12:30 untili 2:30

Miller's Time Out restraunt, 13261 Helmer Rd S, Battle Creek, MI 49015.  Right off I-94 at exit 95.

We will be in the back room, probably at the tables to the right.   If you're at the pool table, you are at the wrong end of the building.  If you're at the air hockey table, you're closer.

It's Wild Card weekend, so if things go well, the Lions won't be playing.   What else do you have to do?

For those who wish to participate, we will be conducting a “Re-gifting” game.

If you wish to take part, bring a wrapped “White Elephant” gift. These will be placed on a table and names (or more likely, tickets) placed in a bowl.  The 1st person whose name is drawn may pick the gift of their choice, then must open for others to see.  After opening it, another name will be drawn.  That next person, may pick a fresh gift or “Steal” an already opened gift.  Anyone who has their gift “stolen”, may then pick one of the remaining gifts on the table, or “steal” from someone else.  However, once a gift has been stolen 3 times it is safe and may not be stolen again.

You do not have to participate in the “Re-gifting / White Elephant” game to attend the event.

Each attendee is responsible for the cost of any food or drink they chose to order.  However, you do not have to eat to attend the event.   My Chauffeur and I play trivia here regularly, and enjoy many of the menu items.  (The sweet potato fries - they dust them with cinnamon sugar.  Yum.)    Staff will probably add the automatic gratuity to the bill, as would be expected with a group the size we usually get.
