Hey Here in the nice little town of Temparuli, with its beautiful old colourful houses in the town centre, there is not only the impressive suspension bridge and the Tamu (Wednesday morning) . No there is also a small mountain, 270m above sea level, from which you have a beautiful view of Mount Kinabalu, but before the summit of Bukit Perahu is reached, 1106 steps have to be climbed . With normal fitness the pure running time is about 1 hour. My local mate and new cacher rogongoyo takes care of the necessary maintenance . Please remember to bring water and a pen .
