This Geocache is an addition to the Coles Fields Trail collection, it also has room for swaps so please feel free to trade. Please remember to seal the log and trades in the ziplock bag.
This cache is also near the Southern Motorway for which they have had plans since 1962, this extension of the Christchurch Southern Motorway cost $195 million in 2020.
This Geocache is hidden in the semi-rural subdivision of Coles Fields which has 36 sections ranging in size from 2500m2 to 7100m2.
Also you might see plovers roaming round as this area is now their home after subdividing in the rest of Rolleston. Please be careful if you see them as they have claws on their wing tips and are fiercely protective of their nests which are often on the ground.
Please only approach from Haymakers Cresent where you can park, DO NOT APPROACH FROM OR PARK ON THE MOTORWAY! Please be kind to the trees while finding this cache.
