WHAT ARE PALETAS ???
Though paletas may look like ordinary popsicles, this dessert packs a much larger punch. Paletas are a Mexican frozen treat made from fresh natural fruits such as strawberry and mango or made from rich creamy ingredients such as Chocolate or peanut butter.
If this sounds good, you're in luck! The cache is hidden in front of an ice cream parlor called Ali'i Ice. Here, you can get paletas with both dairy and non-dairy options available. They also sell shave ice and traditional ice cream. Hours are: 10 am to 4 pm, closed Wednesday and Sunday.
(My personal fave is the chocolate + peanut butter!)
