Este trilho pedestre foi reaberto no coração do Baldio de Vilarinho. Começa junto à entrada do baldio, na zona de Água d’Alto, seguindo por um caminho serpenteante que revela, a cada curva, panoramas de grande beleza, convida aventureiros a explorar a beleza natural e selvagem da região.
Este local proporciona estrategicamente uma vista deslumbrante da cascata. Ao encontrá-la, reflita sobre os passos que outros deram antes, utilizando este caminho como parte do seu quotidiano, não fosse este o único meio de acesso pelos pastores de outrora. Daí este trilho ser um pedaço da história local e uma celebração da harmonia entre o homem e a natureza.
O percurso é um verdadeiro refúgio para os amantes da natureza, passando por paisagens pouco tocadas, algumas ruínas de moinhos ao longo da ribeira, uma histórica Fonte de água férrea, uma impressionante cascata de água cristalina e uma opção pedestre para chegar ao cruzeiro do Monte do Castro.
Os Compartes da Comunidade Local dos Baldios de Vilarinho e os seus visitantes poderão usufruir de uma paisagem belíssima, embora o trajeto seja de dificuldade média-elevada, com algumas subidas suaves e trilhos em terreno irregular. 💪
O percurso é alvo de homologação, sinalização e respetivo licenciamento pelas entidades competentes.

This pedestrian trail has been reopened in the heart of the Vilarinho wasteland. It starts near the entrance to the Baldio, in the Água d'Alto area, following a meandering path that reveals beautiful panoramas at every turn, inviting adventurers to explore the natural and wild beauty of the region.
This spot strategically provides a breathtaking view of the waterfall. When you find it, reflect on the steps that others have taken before, using this path as part of their daily lives, had this not been the only means of access for the shepherds of yesteryear. That's why this trail is a piece of local history and a celebration of the harmony between man and nature.
The route is a true haven for nature lovers, passing through little-touched landscapes, some mill ruins along the stream, a historic iron water source, an impressive crystal-clear waterfall and a pedestrian option to reach the Monte do Castro cross.
Members of the Local Community of the Baldios de Vilarinho and their visitors will be able to enjoy beautiful scenery, although the route is of medium-high difficulty, with some gentle climbs and uneven terrain. 💪
The route has been approved, signposted and licensed by the relevant authorities.
