I'll just admit it -- I'm a math lover. Give me numbers, and I'll be happy. Ever since I could talk, numbers have fascinated me, and as I've learned more math has continued to fascinate and captivate me. I know, some would call that absolutely weird, but it's just how my brain works.
So, this puzzle cache is for those who love math like me. Don't worry: it's no rocket science, not even calculus! As a matter of fact, some of the problems were written in part by a 7th grader. For clarification, the solutions are found by solving for the variable x. So here's the puzzle:

A: (4x+3)1/3 = 3
B: (-2x3+2x2+118x-48) / (x3+7x2-3x) = 0
C: 3(x)1/2 = -12
D: 7x+(144)1/2-142 = 4x-42
E: x3-14x2+48x = 0 (least to greatest)
Check sum: A+B+C+D+E = 100
