Geocache Description:


     Xiwan mangrove park is located at the key ecological node of the dynamic coastal zone in the west of Bao'an, covering a total area of about 450,000 square meters, with coastal footpathslt is about 3 kilometers long.      

     lt is characterized by entering mangroves, being close to the sea and offshore. lt is a multi-functional and comprehensive park integrating leisure,ecology and science popularization and public places.  

     The park is divided into two phases.  The first phase is based on the protection of mangroves, casuarina equisetifolia, banyan and other original plants to build a coastal stack sixteen sceneries, including roads, outdoor squares, and landscape greens.    

     The second phase construction has four themes, namely, protecting the sea with wonderful forests, reviving beautiful dreams with rosy clouds, listening to the tide and recalling the moon, and laughing with colorful sandarea, and built a sports supporting area (Sports Park) to highlight mangrove culture, xixiang regional culture and coastal culture, which is a unique feature of Bao'an District a beautiful city card with coastal characteristics.

     The opening hours of this park is 06:00~22:00.  Take Shenzhen Metro Line 11 to Bihaiwan Station and exit from Exit D.  Take a taxi or bus (M197/M400/M469) and get off at Gushu Jingwan New Village.  Walk across the pedestrian bridge to enter the park.  It is recommended to visit the park in the afternoon and enjoy the sunset at Gushu Pier.
