Geocache Description:

The Tale of JBullfrog's Christmas Quest

Deep in the heart of Kansas, where the fields rolled endlessly into the horizon, lived a peculiar purple frog named JBullfrog. Unlike your average amphibian, JBullfrog had a penchant for puzzles and a passion for geocaching. His purple hue was a point of pride, earned, he liked to claim, from soaking up the twilight glow of Kansas sunsets.

It was a frosty December evening, and JBullfrog was nestled in his cozy lily-pad-shaped house. The faint jingles of Christmas carols played on his old radio, mingling with the soft rustle of snowflakes against the window. On his desk lay a curious email notification—a new geocache had just been published in the area! This one had a special twist: to unlock the final coordinates, seekers had to complete a Christmas-themed Jigidi puzzle.

Excited, JBullfrog clicked the link. The puzzle opened to reveal a digital image of a jolly Santa Claus riding a sleigh through a snowy forest. “Piece of cake!” he croaked, adjusting his tiny spectacles.

He worked swiftly, sorting edge pieces first, then matching colors and shapes with the precision of a seasoned puzzler. But as the image began to take shape, he noticed something unusual in the design. What? this picture is all purple, camouflaged with digital artistry.

"Ho, ho, how clever!" JBullfrog chuckled.

Finally, with a triumphant click, the last piece fell into place, revealing the full set of coordinates. JBullfrog jotted them down and hopped outside, donning his favorite red scarf and a small lantern to light the way.

The coordinates led him to a charming light pole basked in its own light, standing proudly beside a Colorado Street. Beneath its skirt, was the geocache: a weatherproof box adorned with holly and a tag reading "Merry Cache-mas!"  (OOPS, wrong cache,  look down the street)

Inside the box was a logbook, a few trinkets, and a tiny Christmas ornament shaped like a frog—purple, just like him. JBullfrog’s heart swelled with holiday cheer as he added his name to the logbook and left behind a festive token of his own: a small puzzle piece keychain.

As he hopped back home under the starlit sky, JBullfrog couldn’t help but smile. The warmth of the adventure, the spirit of Christmas, and the joy of solving a puzzle combined into one unforgettable night.

And from that day forward, every Christmas season, JBullfrog made it a tradition to share the magic of geocaching with his fellow frogs, proving that sometimes, the greatest treasures are the adventures we share.
