Many years ago there were a lot of Geocaches in Riverhead .....but not many at present .
I am hoping to change this !
Was recently watching the 5 youngest grandies / cousins doing their running , high jump ,shot put , etc ....and thought I would return to place a cache or two .This is the First one .
The Riverhead Amateur Athletics Club has been running since 1959...Totally run by volunteers .They welcome kids from ages 2 to 14.
As for this cache ....should be a Nice quick find . Please ensure there is a stone hiding it from view ....I parked in Princes street but there are at least 2 carparks , plus a good playground nearby .
Cache is tucked under ....A black plastic jar, hopefully with some tiny toys...as well as a pill bottle with the log paper ... Bring a pen !
