Eschdorf ist ein kleiner Ort in Thüringen im Landkreis Saalfeld/ Rudolstadt. Er liegt an der Landstraße zwischen Teichröda und Remda. Das Dorf wurde 1372 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt.
Jährlich findet in Eschdorf das Heidelbeerfest statt, das viele Gäste aus nah und fern anlockt. Dieses Fest gibt es schon seit dem 15. Jahrhundert.
Sehenswert sind auch die Kirche und der 2009 aus einer Trafostation umgebaute Artenschutzturm, der Vögeln und Fledermäusen Unterschlupf bietet.
