Congratulations!, here once again is another cache part of the House To House (HTH) Gadget Cache Series Throughout Orange County. This time it’s a cache with a twist. This is the 5th cache of the series and we still have many more planned out, expect to see a good number of caches placed in 2025 apart of the House To House Series. For this cache it is involved with the game of Twister. But don’t worry it isn't as physical. This time your fingers will be needed. If you are colorblind please bring someone else to the cache with you as you will have to solve a field puzzle consisting of 9 different colors and convert those colors to get a 3 digit combination to the lock to unlock the cache. This cache is a letterbox hybrid meaning that there is a stamp in the cache. We kindly ask that you do not take the stamp but you may add a stamp to your collection. We will provide the ink along with the stamp. The stamp is Christmas themed since this was a Christmas hide. We also highly recommend to drop some trackables in this cache along with trading swag. For parking there is a waypoint provided below but you can park on the street of Terra Bella Avenue and take a very short walk to the cache. This cache is in the secluded area of the beautiful neighborhood here in Laguna Hills which means there are no muggles so don’t worry too much about being stealthy. But if a muggle does come into play, try to be a little stealthy. As always we want the best for you while you are finding this cache. Please no spoiler pictures of the field puzzle at the cache. To Start, At The Posted Coordinates:
- Put your THUMB on the PURPLE DOT
- Put your INDEX FINGER on the LIGHT BLUE DOT
- Put your MIDDLE FINGER on the PINK DOT
- Put your RING FINGER on the DARK BLUE DOT
- Put your PINKY on the LIGHT GREEN DOT
For the code head to the KEY OF CONVERSIONS TABLE and convert the colors into numbers. For the following colors:
- Purple
- Light Blue
- Light Green
CHECKSUM OF 3 DIGITS IS 17
If having trouble with the order of combination of the lock check the hint. For example if the colors for the 3 digit combination are Red, Blue and Yellow. You would follow the hint of ROYGBIV. ROYGBIV is the color spectrum order of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Purple. Since we have Light and Dark colors, you would put the light colors before the dark colors. So for some of the colors of light blue and dark blue you would put the converted number of light blue before dark blue following the order of ROYGBIV. To put the numbers that were converted into the order of Red, Yellow and Blue with red being first and blue being last for the combination. Your final code for the 3 digit lock would be 754.
