Iso-Heikkilä on Turun kaupunginosa, jonka moni tuntee parhaiten Turun suurimmasta liikenneympyrästä. Liikenneympyrän keskellä on pieni puisto ja jalankulkuväylä vie kävelijät Iso-Heikkilästä kohti uutta Kirstinpuiston asuiinaluetta. Ympyrässä on iloisesti elämää: kesäisin siinä käydään piknikillä ja kasvatetaan kukkasia, talvisin lukuisat autoilijat käyvät laittomasti driftaamassa ympyrän toisensa jälkeen, uutena vuotena moni ampuu raketteja puistosta ja ompahan siihen joskus laskeutunut pelastushelikopterikin. Mikäli Turkuun tulee ratikka, tämä liikenneympyrä valitettavasti tuhoutuu, sillä ympyrän läpi vedettäisiin linja ratikan varikolle, joka sijoitetaan Iso-Heikkilän taka-alueille.

Iso-Heikkilä roundabout
Iso-Heikkilä is a district of the city of Turku and is well known for many for the largest roundabout in Turku. There is a small park in the middle of the roundabout and a pedestrian walkway takes one to the new district of Kirstinpuisto. There is a lot of life in the roundabout: people go on a picnic and raise flowers in summertime, in the winter many come to do illegal drifting with their cars, a lot of fireworks get shot from the rounabout at New Year and there has even been a rescue helicopter landing there. Unfortunately the roundabout will be destroyed if the tramway gets built in Turku. That is because the way to the tramway depot will go through the roundabout.
