I was navigating between two geocaches, when I came upon this park.
At this stage, it looks quite desolate.I have tried to find out if there is a name gazetted for it, but did not get lucky.
This would be a good place to come back to over time as the area develops. Maybe the park will get some plaques as to who designed the sculptures.
The JACKA LOCAL CENTRE is going to be along Romberg Way as well and, looking at the satellite map now, I have the feeling this park might be just on the edge of it with the centre across the road to the east.
Romberg Way is probably named after Frederick Romberg, an Architect, who grew up in Germany and studied in Switzerland. He migrated to Australia in 1938 and was influential in Melbourne, bringing a Modernist style, which he adapted over time to Australian conditions.
Most of his projects are in Melbourne, but Wikipedia has the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Turner listed as a project in Canberra.
