ABOUT THE SERIES: The It's Actually Raining Caches Series is a collection of 4 Tree Fishing caches that will require a fishing pole to retrieve and replace. If you have ever done tree fishing before, you have probably accidentally dropped a cache* at least once whilst retrieving or replacing and it came "raining" down. That's where the concept of the series comes from.
INDIVIDUAL GEOCACHE INFORMATION: I recently got a new fishing pole and have been obsessed with tree fishing and some hides related to it so I've created my own tree fish hide and decided to start my very first full series.
THE CACHE: It's extremely high (~9.5m) and its also extremely difficult (D4.5) to not only retrieve, but replace. Please allow enough time (at least 30 mins) to complete (retrieve, sign the log and replace) I hope you enjoy.
Don't forget to scan the NFC tag attached to the cache, to show details to locate the BONUS cache of the series.

ABOUT IRC 2025: This geocache was part of the It's Raining Caches 2025 GC Project with the aim of creating new geocaches in NSW that would "rain" at 9am on 19 January 2025 - one week before the Sydney GeoQuest Block Party. Many legendary hiders especially me lolcame together to create their best geocaches to build excitement and connection amongst the Geocaching Community for years to come. This geocache helped to make it rain.
*Please note that the idea comes from dropping my own caches whilst placing and testing and not other caches.
