Die Waldohreule ist eine der häufigsten Eulen in Mitteleuropa. Die Namensgebung geht auf die beiden Federbüschel am Kopf zurück, die wie Ohren aussehen. Sie ist nachtaktiv und jagt hauptsächlich Mäuse und andere kleine Säugetiere
Anstatt ihre Nester selber zu bauen nutzt diese Eule die verlassenen Nester anderer Vögel. Sehr pragmatisch!
Nun hat sich eine solche Eule die verlassenen Nester von Eisengießer zu nutzte gemacht um sich in der Nähe niederzulassen. Einen Hinweis auf den genauen Standort findet ihr an Stage 1 (Ehemals GC6BRQY). Von S1 zum Final sind es etwa 800m.

The long-eared owl is one of the most common owls in Central Europe. Its name comes from the two feather tufts on its head that look like ears. It is nocturnal and mainly hunts mice and other small mammals.
Instead of building its own nests, this owl uses the abandoned nests of other birds. Very pragmatic!
