Mioritics 20 geo-years/200Hides/10.000Finds Event Cache

Organizing the first event of 2025 in Bucharest in honor of my mentor and friend Mioritics reaching 10.000 finds. Mioritics is a notable figure in the Romanian geocaching community, recognized for creating and maintaining several geocaches throughout the country. One of the oldest active cachers in the country, he published the first mystery, event, earthcache, letterbox, wherigo cache in Romania. He is a founder member of AGeR (Geocaching Romania Association) and also contributed to almost every national geocaching event (GeoQuest). Mioritics has had a great impact in making geocaching in Romania more exciting and meaningful. Through his efforts, he’s created opportunities for both locals and tourists to discover the country’s stunning landscapes and cultural treasures in a fun and interactive way. His contributions have made geocaching not just a hobby, but a journey of exploration and connection. On this day we are celebrating his 10.000 finds. Join us for a great experience!
