Als ich Kleinkind in Südwestengland war, habe ich eine Liste von Tankstellenmarken in einem Mathe-Heft geführt. Viele Marken und Firmen sind in den letzten 40 Jahren verschwunden (bzw. haben sich rebranden lassen). In Erinnerung an meiner Kindheit, habe ich eine leichte Mystery Cache zusammengestellt, wobei ich auch einige noch bestehende Marken dazu hinzugefügt habe. Einige davon betreiben keine Tankstellen. Anhand von den hier angeführten Logos (bzw. Teilen von Logos) findet ihr die Cachekoordinaten über den Checker heraus. Rennsport-Fans werden sicherlich einige Marken leichter erkennen.
Nachdem der langjährige Bezirksvorsteher eine Tankstelle hatte, habe ich mich gedacht, eine Cache zu Tankstellen wäre hier passend.Nachdem Turmöl "Racing Diesel" im Sortiment hat, war eine Erweiterung auf F1-Ölfirmen logisch.

As a young boy growing up in southwest England, I made a list of different names of petrol stations in a maths exercise book. A lot of brands and companies have disappeared (or rebranded). As a reminder of my childhood, try to identify the logos for this mystery cache, although I have topped up the numbers using some current oil brands, which may not necessarily operate petrol stations. Identify the logos (or parts of logos) and enter them in the checker to find out the cache coordinates. Motorsport fans will recognise a few brands more easily.
As a tribute to the fact that the long-time Bezirksvorsteher of Döbling ran a petrol station, and given that Turmöl has a product called Racing Diesel, there were some logical connections for the logos.
