This is a Park n Grab. Nothing needs to be taken apart, untied, or cut. This can be a high muggle traffic area, especially on weekends. If crowded, please swing by a different time and remember to follow Como Park rules. This Cache is intended to be an opportunity to share pictures of Geopups that accompany us on our caching expeditions, whether current or in the past. Beyond the three that have come caching with me, there are many wonderful dogs met at events and on the trails. While pictures of our geopups are not required, it is encouraged to see the variety of dogs that join us in this activity.
Cache has been registered with St Paul Parks and Rec.

Our first Geopup was Kyra who was adopted from the old St. Paul Animal Shelter that used to exist just a short distance west of here. She was a German Shepherd mix who never met a stream or pond she never wanted to be in. On the trail, if a child under the age of 7 came by, she was on her back begging for a tummy rub from the child. Old age finally caught up to her in 2022.

Currently, I often borrow my middle daughter's 75 lb Boxer mix, Denali. He is a bit more reserved, but if you give him 20 minutes to warm up to you, you will have a lifetime friend. He loves long hikes of 3 to 6 miles. The opposite of Kyra, the only purpose he has for water is to drink, he dislikes crossing streams and puddles.

And my oldest daughter's new adopted foster dog from Minneapolis Animal Control. Tai is a 45 pound Huskey / Staffordshire Mix. He loves water and will literally fall asleep with is chin in his water bowl. Lot's of energy and just now training him on walking trails and how to behave when meeting other walkers and animals.
