Happy New Year! Usually at this time of the year, people make New Year's Resolutions. These resolutions can mean quick, intense changes (flows) followed by little to no change (ebbs). When it comes to geocaching, we've had a lot of ebbing and flowing over the years! We started geocaching on 09/11/2006 with much intensity, but had a huge slump of 1429 consecutive days without a find from 05/06/2016 to 04/04/2020. This year was the best year of caching with 236 finds in 2024. After 18 years of geocaching (and much ebbing and flowing in our finds), we have finally reached the 1000 find milestone! For 2025, our New Year's Resolution is to get to 1250 finds (and beat our best year of caching).
