Of caching and marriage .... Community Celebration Event

As some of you may know, we (Harry the furry squid and Optimist on the run) met each other through geocaching, got together while helping organise the Uttoxeter Mega ... and we've recently got married!

Geocaching has a lot to answer for sometimes. :)

2025 marks not just our wedding, but 25 years of geocaching and the surprising - and sometimes rather lovely - things that follow on from it. So, to mark this, we're going to have a celebration event, and we'd like you all to come and join us (whether you know us yet or not) at Shenstone Village Hall on Sunday 31st August between 1pm and 5 pm.

There'll be tea, coffee, squash etc and a selection of home-made cakes on offer. We are of course planning to put out some new caches in the area (the existing PTM caches will still be live for those who haven't done them yet), and there will be other activities during the afternoon which we'll announce later, so log your 'will attends' now to get updates and announcements.

There is a car park at the venue. Shenstone is easily accessible from Birmingham and the A5, or (if you're feeling extravagent) the M6 Toll. Shenstone railway station is a short walk away, and is on the cross-city line between Lichfield and Birmingham New Street.

There's plenty of space in the hall - so if you do something caching-related and are interested in having a stall, please get in touch.
