Rok 2025 je pro komunitu kačerstva výjimečný. Uplynulo čtvrtstoletí od založení Geocachingu v roce 2000! A nám se od HQ dostalo velké cti uspořádat v letošním roce Community Celebration Event. Je to pro nás obrovská výzva! Několik eventů jsme již v minulosti uspořádali, ale toto je něco zcela jiného, zavazujícího. A my se rozhodli tuto výzvu přijmout.
Oslavíme tedy společně jubileum geocachingu, tj. se všemi, kdo budou mít zájem, chuť a čas.
Místo eventu, které jsme zvolili pro jeho pořádání, je umístěno v katastru obce Loket. V tomto malebném historickém městečku s hradní dominantou a městským opevněním dlouhodobě bydlíme a odtud také vyrážíme na všelijaká dobrodružství po keškách do lesů a luk, do přírody. A jelikož město Loket většina z vás velmi dobře zná, rozhodli jsme se pro tak trochu originální řešení.
Zveme vás všechny, kdo chcete zažít něco neobyčejného, na úvodní souřadnice k místu zvanému Supí potok (něm. Geiersbach). V minulosti zde bývala lesní kavárna a restaurace, po její zániku se tu konaly dětské tábory. Dnes je sídlem společnosti, která se stará o blaho loketských lesů. A na tomto místě společně oslavíme 25. výročí vzniku geocachingu.
Co bude náplní eventu? Samozřejmě příjemné a přátelské posezení u ohně (buřty a nápoje si vezměte s sebou), honba za bodíky v podobě kešek a labek, pro děti připravíme nějaké hravé aktivity a pokusíme se zajistit i nějakou tu kulturní vložku. K mání budou i výroční CWG.

Kdy a kde se sejdeme? Event se bude konat za každého počasí (trakaře nás neodradí!) dne 21.09.2025 v čase od 14:00 hod. do 17:00 hod. na úvodních souřadnicích v místě zvaném Geiersbach v katastru obce Loket.
A ještě malá poznámka na závěr. V Karlovarském kraji mnoho celebration eventů dosud pořádaných nebylo. Ukažme okolnímu světu, že i v našem krásném kraji jsme schopni uspořádat akci, na kterou, doufáme, budeme společně dlouho vzpomínat.

Das Jahr 2025 ist ein besonderes Jahr für die Cacher-Gemeinschaft. Ein Vierteljahrhundert ist vergangen, seit Geocaching im Jahr 2000 gegründet wurde! Und das HQ hat uns die Ehre erwiesen, das diesjährige Community Celebration Event organisieren zu können. Das ist eine große Herausforderung für uns! Wir haben in der Vergangenheit schon einige Events organisiert, aber dies ist etwas ganz anderes, etwas Verbindliches. Und wir haben uns entschlossen, diese Herausforderung anzunehmen.
Wir werden also das Jubiläum von Geocaching gemeinsam feiern, d.h. mit allen, die Interesse, Lust und Zeit haben.
Der Ort, den wir für die Veranstaltung ausgewählt haben, befindet sich im Dorf Loket. In diesem malerischen historischen Städtchen mit seinem Wahrzeichen - der Burg und der Stadtbefestigung, wohnen wir schon lange und von hier aus gehen wir auch auf alle möglichen Abenteuer zu Caches in Wald und Wiese, in die Natur. Und da die meisten von euch die Stadt Loket sehr gut kennen, haben wir uns für eine etwas originelle Lösung entschieden.
Wir laden alle, die etwas Außergewöhnliches erleben wollen, zu den Anfangskoordinaten an einen Ort namens Geiersbach ein. Früher gab es hier ein Waldcafé und ein Restaurant, nach seiner Schließung fanden hier Kinderfreizeiten statt. Heute ist hier der Sitz eines Unternehmens, das sich um das Wohlergehen der Wälder von Loket kümmert. Und hier werden wir gemeinsam das 25-jährige Jubiläum des Geocaching feiern.
Was wird der Inhalt des Events sein? Natürlich ein nettes und gemütliches Zusammensitzen am Feuer, die Jagd nach Punkten in Form von Caches und Lab-Caches, wir werden einige spielerische Aktivitäten für Kinder vorbereiten und versuchen, einen kulturellen Beitrag zu bieten. Es gibt auch das jährliche CWG zu bekommen.
Wir hoffen auf eine große Beteiligung und freuen uns darauf, Sie alle zu sehen.
Wann und wo werden wir uns treffen? Die Veranstaltung findet bei jedem Wetter (Regen wie aus einem Eimer wird uns nicht abschrecken!) am 21.09.2025 von 14:00 bis 17:00 Uhr an den ursprünglichen Koordinaten in einem Ort namens Geiersbach (Supí potok) in der Gemeinde Loket statt.
Und noch eine kleine Anmerkung zum Schluss. In der Region Karlovy Vary wurden bisher noch nicht viele Celebration Events organisiert. Zeigen wir der Außenwelt, dass wir auch in unserer schönen Region in der Lage sind, ein Ereignis zu organisieren, an das wir uns hoffentlich noch lange gemeinsam erinnern werden.

The year 2025 is a special one for the cacher community. A quarter of a century has passed since Geocaching was founded in 2000! And we have been honored by HQ to host this year's Community Celebration Event. This is a huge challenge for us! We've hosted several events in the past, but this is something completely different, something obliging. And we have decided to take on this challenge.
So we are going to celebrate the anniversary of geocaching together, i.e. with everyone who is interested, willing and has the time.
The place we have chosen for the event is located in the village of Loket. We have been living in this picturesque historical town with its castle landmark and town fortifications for a long time and from here we also go on all kinds of adventures to caches in the woods and meadows, in the nature. And since most of you know the town of Loket very well, we decided for a bit of an original solution.
We invite all of you who want to experience something extraordinary to the initial coordinates to a place called Vulture Creek (Supí potok), in the past, there used to be a forest café and restaurant here, and after its demise, children's camps were held here. Today it is the seat of a company that looks after the welfare of the Loket forests. And here we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of geocaching together.
What will be the content of the event? Of course, a nice and friendly sitting by the fire, hunting for points in the form of caches and lab caches, we will prepare some playful activities for children and we will try to provide some cultural performance. There will also be the annual CWG up for grabs.
We are hoping for a large turnout and we look forward to seeing you all.
When and where will we meet? The event will take place in all weather conditions (a rainfall will not deter us!) on 21.09.2025 from 14:00 to 17:00 at the initial coordinates in a place called Supí potok in the municipality of Loket.
And a little note in conclusion. Not many celebration events have been organized in the Karlovy Vary Region so far. Let's show the outside world that even in our beautiful region we are able to organize an event that we hope to remember together for a long time.
