Geocache Description:

I have made a number of new friends over the years, usually through attending Geocaching events. I have played this game since 2013 and never ceased to be amazed by the helpfulness and positive disposition held by the local caching community. That is why I, along with a few Geocaching friends, have started a regular event for geocachers that will be hosted in and around Exeter in a variety of venues.

These events are open to all players and those who are new, relatively new or visiting the area are especially welcome to attend. Come and chat to players whose caches you have found, make new friends, get help on puzzles and put names to faces. If you ask nicely you might be able to get rid of that massive trackable that is taking up space at home!

Who can attend:
Each and every Geocacher can attend regardless of whether they have found 1 geocache, 100001 geocaches or anywhere in between.

When:
Saturday 25th January between 6pm and 8pm

Where:
The Imperial, New North Road, Exeter (see the headline coordinates). A table number will be shared as an announcement or if there are plenty of 'will attend' logs I will reserve a dedicated room.

Travel:
Car: pay and display parking is available next to the venue. On street parking may also be available nearby.
Bus: Catch a bus to Exeter St Davids or New North Road and it is less than 5 minutes walk from either location.
Train: Exeter St Davids is about 5 minutes walk from the venue and peak time ticket restrictions do not apply at weekends.

Accessibility:
The venue should be accessible to all cachers regardless of their level of mobility. Children are allowed in the pub but dogs are not.

Here's hoping our first event is a huge success!
