Come and help out with the monthly litter pick at Lesnes Abbey organised by the Friends of Lesnes Abbey.
A thirteenth CITO by me at this historic site. It'll be another Church Micro CITO too. With a couple of hours should be able to make it to the further ends of the park that sometimes don't make.
Pickers and sacks will be provided. It's suitable for young and old and a great opportunity to get into the woods, meet like-minded people and keep the woods looking fantastic. All you need to bring is a willingness to get stuck in. The bin which the litter needs to go into at the end can be found at N51 29.337 E0 7.700.
Meet at 12:00 noon outside the Lodge Office which is the opposite side of the Lodge to the cafe and next to some metal leaf bike racks.
There is usually plenty of parking in either Abbey Road or New Road.
