The fear of long words is called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, or sesquipedalophobia. It's a social phobia that can cause people to experience anxiety, embarrassment, or panic when faced with long words. Other symptoms include:
- Avoiding reading
- Trembling
- Sweating
- Dizziness
- Fainting
- Dry mouth
- Headache
- Trouble breathing
I certainly hope you don't have the above mentioned fear. If you do, you may struggle with the puzzle below.
