This birdhouse was built from wood left over from my Dad's wendyhouse that got trashed in the April 22 floods.

While there is some tree climbing involved, it's a "friendly tree" to climb and the cache should be easily visible from the pavement.

The origins of bungee jumping can be traced back to Pentecost Island in Vanuatu, where a local tribe would perform a manhood ritual by jumping off a bamboo tower with vines tied to their feet. The British Army brought the tradition to the West during World War II, but it wasn't until 1955 that Westerners learned of it.

AJ Hackett's Eiffel Tower jump
In 1987, AJ Hackett and Henry van Asch snuck up the Eiffel Tower at night and Hackett jumped from it the next morning. The jump was broadcast on TV around the world, helping to popularize bungee jumping.
