Geocache Description:

Tiny Parks of McMahons Point (TPMP) Upper McMahons Point

About the series

In the Tiny Parks of McMahons Point series you will visit, well, tiny parks in McMahons Point. The containers are not difficult to find or to access as we just want you to enjoy each visit and the wander amongst them. Hints are generous to avoid excessive search time and unnecessary scrabbling amongst vegetation.

There are five geocaches in this series with 16 waypoints. At many waypoints, find the answer to a question and use the answers to calculate the coordinates for the Final Mystery cache GCB20XC Final Tiny Parks of McMahons Point.

Parking on many streets in McMahons Point is unmetered for two hours but often challenging to find free spaces.

About this multi-cache

This multi-cache will bring you to four of the tiny parks in the upper (northern) part of McMahons Point.

WP3: O'Brien's Gardens

Shady hideaway named for Grace O’Brien who maintained this area voluntarily for many years. Nowadays, the residents continue to look after the garden.

*******************************************************************************

This geocache was part of GC Project: It's Raining Caches 2025.

The project's aim was to create a rain of new geocaches to fall from the sky across the state of NSW at 9am on 19th January 2025 - 1 week before Sydney Geoquest, the first Block Party in the Southern Hemisphere.

Many legendary hiders came together to generously contribute their finest geocaches to build excitement and connection amongst the community and for all finders to enjoy years after the event.

This geocache helped make it rain.
