We haven't been in Nelson for a long time but I hear that downhill mountain bike racing used to take place on this firebreak. I did race bikes down firebreaks in other places and it's amazing how far mountain biking has come since then. Part of the reason we shifted to Nelson is for the riding which is phenomenal. Anyway, it will be an easy short walk down if you park in Observatory Tce and you will work for it more if you park in Emano St at Pipers Reserve and walk up. Please replace as found.
