The road less travelled is often the best. This cache lies on a quiet dirt road, most often used by land owners, but worth a travel. While driving this route is bumpy and dusty, it yields several interesting points of view on the semi-arid side of the Langeberg mountain range. Those of us who live on this side, simply call this area "Langeberg". This mountain virtually divides the climate in two, as you will find if you cross the Garcia Pass. On the southern side, pine forests and green landscape. On this side, Renosterbos and rain scarcity.
Park next to mile marker (or is that, kilometer marker?) 91, which puts your vehicle out of harms way. Ahead of you, the mountains, and behind you (on the opposite side of the road), the geocache awaits. The farm of Virgin Earth, is all around you.
We hope that your stop here will do for you, what it does for us: to appreciate the almost 270 degrees of view, while you sign the logbook.
PS: The northern roadside is so wide, that it is actually a nice spot to give the doggo a leg stretch.
After, of during heavy rains - this route is better travelled with a 4x4
