Geocache Description:

Welcome to the All Roads Lead to Ballarat series. This is a series of caches placed on 20 of the roads that lead into Ballarat.

This cache is situated on Daylesford Road, which is an alternative road to the Midland Highway with both roads meeting at Newlyn. It has been placed at the top of the cutting between Kirk’s Reservoir and the Gong Gong Reservoir. Both Reservoirs have lovely gardens, picnic areas and walking trails for visitors. You know you are getting to Ballarat as soon as you get to the cutting where the speed changes and you enter the suburb of Brown Hill!

The cache is a micro, though the themed host is a little bigger.

There is ample space available to safely pull off the road near GZ on both sides of the road.
