The title of the cache may seem a bit counter-intuitive, as most people will park in Adriana St.
“So isn’t it on THIS side of the lake?”
Well, yes. It’s simply that when it occurred to me that the row of mag … oops! METEOROLOGICAL poles … dear me … a double slip-up ... PILLARS here provided excellent fodder for a mag … my mistake … MULTI, that became my main reason for using Lake Yandel’ora. Having made THAT decision, it really seemed a waste to not use other parts of the lake for some traditional caches. But once I did the magn … darn!! ... MEASUREMENTS, I decided that the dimensions of the place meant the only way I'd be able to squeeze in two traddies would be to choose sites that were a bit ... “meh”! Not a very ATTRACTIVE option! (ooh .. was that another goof?) What’s more, most CO’s (or is it just me?) hate having the mag … did it again … MISFORTUNE of doing a whole lot of groundwork, only to go online, and find that your distances were just a wee bit out (well, the geocaching website says so, and that’s what ma .. ma .. MATTERS … nearly said it!)
So I decided to play it safe, and have my “extra” cache on the Adriana St side, definitely better than 161m from the other one! In any case, it provides incentive to walk the entire circumference, and experience a little part of the southwest which, being so close to the magn.ificent Botanical Gardens, is easily missed.
This poor little feller nearly went to sleep waiting for someone to show up. Slumber finally disturbed by joint searchers of jaybeem! (Mr & Mrs) and Curliebunny666. FTF honours to all!
