Cache started at Excello locks near Middletown on 12-7-02.
The Excello Locks were the first locks built on the Miami Erie Canal in 1826. The Miami Erie Canal was once an essential means of transport for good and materials even after the introduction of steam locomotives. The Excello Locks Historic Site is located just south of Middletown on Hamilton Middletown Road.
The cache contains a logbook and pencil. The cache is a medium PRETZEL BALL container. Take or leave what you like.
