Geocache Description:

When new housing developments are constructed nowadays, there are various features you just expect to see. Parks big and small, with more than just the old standard “swings/slippery-dip/monkey bars and see-saw” combination; sporting fields catering for all the regulation activities; gardens; cycle paths; areas of retained bushland; public art; regularly-placed bus shelters; etc.

But take the turn from Oran Park Dr into Forestgrove Dr., and you’ll find yourself saying “Now you don’t see THAT every day!”

Because in the midst of a very well cared-for park and gardens is a structure that looks like it’s made … well, for people to get married in, or for the conduct of other other formal celebrations, or at the very least least as a setting for formal photographs.

But here’s the thing … I’ve wandered around here a few times over the years, driven past it lots … but never seen it used at all. That’s not to say it ISN’T used on occasion, but not that often, it would seem. And I’ve never found a sign providing information of usage, whether it needs to be booked, who to contact about it. All the stuff you might expect.

If it IS just a white elephant (and it is very WHITE), I reckon it’s a very attractive and well-kept one (in contrast to the green monstrosity you pass on the way into Campbelltown)

Now a confession … for ages now I’ve had in my possession some magnetic nano’s that I haven’t used … Yes, you know where this is going!

Bloody nano’s!!!” But before you lose your cool, or just drive on past making an obscene gesture of some sort, let me say that this one really shouldn’t be a hard find. You don’t have to leave the concreted area to get it. You don’t have to disturb a plant, tree or blade of grass. Or go climbing.

Just put it back where you found it, and (fingers crossed) all will be well!

And another “first” for me … after that little pep talk, you don’t need a hint!!

yes "Local girl does good" ... congrats on FTF-ing this one, Laimelde
