Welcome to the Central Ohio Fire Museum and Learning Center in downtown Columbus. This quick and easy grab is located just outside the museum, making it a great stop whether you’re caching solo or with the whole family.
The museum itself is housed in the historic Engine House No. 16, one of Columbus’s original fire stations. Since opening as a museum in 2002, it has become a hub for fire safety education, community programs, and firefighting history.
Cache is only accessible during business hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
You do not need to enter the building to find the cache, but if you're curious about the fire trucks, exhibits, or the hands-on fire prevention area, we’d love to have you inside for a visit. The museum is fun for all ages and even includes a play area for younger visitors.
Admission (if you choose to tour):
Adults – $9.00
Seniors – $8.00
Children – $7.00
Please be respectful of the location and stealthy when retrieving the cache. Bring your own pen, and feel free to leave a note about your visit!
