Ezzel a rejtéssel szeretnélek meghívni benneteket a Nagyerdőn található Klinikára, azon belül is a "nagy tudósok klubjába".
A 2010-ben megalakult Professzori Klub rendezvényeinek az eredeti szépségében felújított, elegánsan berendezett, mégis meghitt hangulatot árasztó Kenézy Villa ad otthont.
Kenézy Gyula 1885-től debreceni tisztiorvos, 1893-tól a debreceni városi kórház igazgatója, 1896-tól a bábaképző, 1903-tól a gyermekmenhely főorvosa és igazgatója. 1915-től a formálódó debreceni orvosi kar szervezője, 1916-tól a szülészet és nőgyógyászat nyugalmazott tanára. 1919-1920-ban az egyetem rektora volt.
A villát dr. Kenézy Gyula magának és családjának építette az 1920-as évek legvégén, a Szülészeti Klinikával szemben. Sajnos nem sokáig élvezte a szép házat, mert 1931-ben elhunyt. Évtizedekig az egyetem könyvtára használta az épületet a rendszerváltás után. A villa felújítása 200 millió Ft-ba került, nagyrészt cégek adakozásából valósult meg, míg az épületben található orvostörténeti gyűjtemény (képek, műszerek, bútorok, dokumentumok, fényképek, könyvek ezrei) magánadományokból kerültek a múzeumba.
Az épület egyetemi és privát rendezvényekre is bérelhető. A lehetőségekről a DE Általános Orvostudományi Kar Dékáni Hivatala ad bővebb felvilágosítást (ld. a linket a forrásnál).

With this hide, I would like to invite you to the Clinic in the Nagyerdő, and in particular to the "club of great scientists".
The Professorial Club, founded in 2010, hosts its events in Kenézy Villa, which has been restored to its original beauty, elegantly furnished, yet with an intimate atmosphere.
Gyula Kenézy was a medical officer in Debrecen from 1885, director of the Debrecen City Hospital from 1893, head of the puppet school from 1896 and head of the children's asylum from 1903. From 1915, he was the organiser of the medical faculty in Debrecen, and from 1916, he was retired professor of obstetrics and gynaecology. From 1919 to 1920 he was rector of the university.
Dr. Gyula Kenézy built the villa for himself and his family in the late 1920s, opposite the Obstetrics Clinic. Unfortunately he did not enjoy the beautiful house for long, as he died in 1931. The building was used by the university library for decades after the change of regime. The renovation of the villa cost 200 million HUF, mostly donated by companies, while the medical history collection (pictures, instruments, furniture, documents, photographs, thousands of books) was donated by private donations.
