This is the eighth in the world famous 'Public Footpath Sign' series started by the geocaching legend BEASTMARSTA
This is a modern timber footpath sign, with a wooden post and pointer sign with black indented lettering. It is thought to date from the early part of the twenty first century. The post has the added distinction of a yellow hydrant sign fixed to it. A rare sight that makes this footpath sign something of a tourist attraction, so sometimes it can be quite busy here.
