The district emerged as a hub for craft brewing in the early 2010s, as a wave of independent brewers transformed old warehouses and industrial spaces into thriving taprooms. What makes the Ballard Brewery District unique is its walkability: you can easily stroll between more than a dozen breweries showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of the Pacific Northwest beer scene.
