Ezzel a rejtéssel szeretnélek meghívni benneteket a régen Klinika Moziként ismert szórakozóhelyre, ahová én is jártam az egyetemi éveim alatt.
A Debreceni Egyetem Klinika telepén található Klinika Egyetemi Klub több néven is ismert. Régebben hívták Hullaháznak és Klinika Mozinak is, nem véletlenül. A század elején átadott épület az ötvenes évek legelejéig Egyetemi Gyászház volt, azaz ravatalozó funkciót töltött be.
Rákosi Mátyás utasítására mozivá alakították át, hogy szolgálja az egyetemi dolgozók és az ott fekvő betegek szórakozását. A hatvanas évektől felfedezték az egyetemi öntevékeny csoportok és az akkori egyetemi beatzenekarok is.
Kevesen tudják, hogy 1971 és 1975 között itt próbált és koncertezett a DOTE zenekar. A csapat magját a Bokor és Szalay testvérek alkották. Innen indult tehát a város két kultikus zenekara a Color és a Panta Rhei.
Bokor Attila, a Color dobosa úgy emlékszik vissza, hogy a Klinika egy kiváló akusztikai adottságokkal rendelkező hely volt, ami éveken át a második otthona lett a fiatal muzsikusoknak.
Itt lépett először színpadra a nyolcvanas évek elején az ismert színész Magyar Attila, aki Csonka Valterrel a későbbi bluesénekessel akkortájt az Aula nevű formációban zenélt.
Kiemelkedő időszak indult el a kilencvenes évek közepén, amikor a PG Csoport frontembere, Jantyik Zsolt vezette a Klinika Mozit. Azt tervezték, hogy egyhetes non-stop buli sorozattal indítják újra a klubot, ami végül is két és fél hónapig tartott. Hetvenöt napig minden este koncert volt. A PG Csoport akkortájt megjelent koncertlemezét, ami a Klinika Mozi címet viseli, szintén ott rögzítették ezerkétszáz ember előtt – hely maximális befogadóképessége négyszáz fő.
A kilencvenes évek második felében gyakorlatilag a komplett magyar élmezőny tiszteletét tette a nagyerdei klubban.
Az utóbbi években csökkentek a koncertek, inkább az elektronikus zenék, partik egyetemi szakestek otthona lett a Klinika. Az épület az irodalomba is belopta magát. A Klinika Klub őse felfedezhető Romhányi József A bölcs bagoly című versében.

With this hide, I would like to invite you to what used to be known as the Klinika Mozi, where I used to go during my university years.
The Klinika Egyetemi Klub, located on the University of Debrecen's Klinika site, is known by several names. It used to be called the Hullaház and Klinika Mozi, not coincidentally. The building, which was inaugurated at the beginning of the century, was the University Funeral Home until the early 1950s.
On the orders of Mátyás Rákosi, it was converted into a cinema for the entertainment of university staff and patients. In the 1960s, it was discovered by university voluntary groups and the university beat bands of the time.
Few people know that the DOTE orchestra rehearsed and performed here between 1971 and 1975. The core of the group was the Bokor and Szalay brothers. This is where the two cult bands of the city, Color and Panta Rhei, started.
Attila Bokor, the drummer of Color, recalls that the Klinika was a place with excellent acoustics, which became a second home for young musicians for years.
It was here that the well-known actor Attila Magyar first appeared on stage in the early eighties, playing with Valter Csonka, who later became a blues singer, in a group called Aula.
The mid-nineties saw the beginning of a remarkable period when Zsolt Jantyik, frontman of the PG Group, led Klinika Mozi. The plan was to relaunch the club with a week-long series of non-stop parties, which lasted for two and a half months. For seventy-five days there was a concert every night. The PG Csoports's concert album of the time, entitled Klinika Mozi, was also recorded there in front of 1,200 people - the maximum capacity of the venue was 400.
In the second half of the nineties, practically the entire Hungarian elite was present at the club in Nagyerdő.
In recent years, the number of concerts has decreased, and the Klinika has become the home of electronic music and parties for university students. The building has also made its mark in the literary world. The ancestor of the Klinika Klub can be found in József Romhányi's poem The Wise Owl.
