Se trascorri le vacanze a Lignano Sabbiadoro non puoi far a meno di visitare il parco più famoso della città, quello intitolato allo scrittore americano Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) che, da assiduo frequentatore del Veneto e del Friuli Venezia Giulia, visitò Lignano il 15 aprile 1954. Il parco Hemingway è una vera e propria oasi verde, perfetto per una passeggiata o pedalata lungo le piste ciclabili, jogging oppure un semplice momento di relax e divertimento con i propri bambini. All’interno del parco è presenta una zona adibita per gli spettacoli all’aperto, con apposita arena e palco, il tutto in perfetta armonia con l’ambiente verdeggiante e naturale circostante. L’ampio parco presenta numerosi parchi giochi: nelle ore più calde è il luogo adatto per far divertire gli ospiti più piccoli all’ombra dei pini marittimi.
In memoria dello scrittore, all’interno del Parco, è possibile osservare una mostra fotografica permanente e alcuni scritti sulla sua vita.
In occasione dell’inizio della stagione estiva, il Parco diventa luogo simbolo della festa più colorata e profumata di Lignano conosciuta come la Festa dei Fiori.

During your holidays in Lignano Sabbiadoro you cannot miss a visit to the most famous park in the town, the Hemingway park, named after the American writer Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) who, as a frequent visitor of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions, visited Lignano on 15 April 1954. The Hemingway park is like a green oasis, perfect for a walk, a ride along the cycle paths, running or just to enjoy relaxation and fun with your kids. In the park there is an area for outdoor shows, with an arena and stage, all in harmony with the surrounding green and natural environment. The large park has many playgrounds and during the hottest hours it is the right place to stay with kids in the shade of maritime pines.
Inside the park there is a permanent photo exhibition in memory of the writer, together with some writings on his life.
In the beginning of the summer season, the Park hosts the Lignano Flower Festival (Festa dei Fiori), the most colourful and fragrant festival in Lignano.
