The cache is surrounded by an impressive cluster of bio-tech and high-tech industries. These include the Guangdong Provincial Umbilical Cord Blood Hematopoietic Stem Cell Bank (广东省脐带血造血干细胞库) and several large company or institute campuses. The designs are gated and forbidding and even the nearby Niu Gong Shan mountain greenery (actually more of a small hill) is fenced off. The blueway in this section is immaculately maintained and quite beautiful, perhaps reflecting the impressive tax revenue base running along it. It could do with some more amenities and services or even some more imaginatively designed block frontages.
