Welcome to another locally owned business, the only mead distillery in the county! Here you can find eight meads made using only West Virginia honey and other premium all-natural ingredients from the state such as roses, wildflowers, and berries. With over 30 hives in Catawba, right here in Marion County’s own backyard, owners Tom and Ruthann bring it straight from the comb to your glass (with a little fermenting in between). Basic mead is made of honey, water, and yeast. Dating back to almost 7000 B.C., mead has held an important place in a variety of cultures, especially our own.

TO FIND THIS CACHE you'll first need to locate the bright yellow box ... it shouldn't be hard to spot. Parking is available directly in front of the cache, but please be respectful of the business and patrons and only search for this cache during daylight hours. You'll need to solve a simple gadget puzzle here; hopefully your counting skills haven't gone by the wayside. Please replace everything exactly as you found it.
