Come out on March 22nd for the first Montour Trail cleanup of 2025! The CITO will start at 8:00 AM and will conclude at 9:30 AM. This month, we will be meeting at the Cliffmine Road Trail Head. We will be working our way to the East Northeast, towards Robinson for this CITO. I figure we could probably walk about mile or so, picking up any litter as we find, and work our way back to the posted coordinates. Since we are having a more typical winter this year, I am expecting that we will probably find a ton of poop bags, needing to be picked up. I will bring all the clean up supplies that we will need for this effort; trash bags and gloves. I will also pick up some donut holes and a box of joe to kick off the 2025 Montour Trail season. Please wear sturdy, closed toe shoes if you are planning on attending. The event will take place rain or shine, so if rain is forecasted to take place, also wear your rain gear. This event is also taking place, just 2 days after the start of Spring.So, we can always hope that we have some nicer spring weather for this CITO.
