As the name suggest, located on the east bank of the Huangpu River, the East Bund (东岸) is the collective name for the riverside public spaces in Pudong, such as Lujiazui, Dongchang, Laobaidu and so on. It is connected by a walking route, a jogging track, and a cycling track. Greenery, platforms, viewing points and service centers are also arranged along the East Bund. It is a good place for residents and tourists to relax and have fun.
Dongchang Riverfront (东昌滨江绿地) is part of the East Bund Riverside Public Space. It is connected to Lujiazui Riverfront in the north and Laobaidu Riverfront in the south, with a total length of 800 meters along the Huangpu River and an area of 3.5 hectares.
