What is Pi-Day? Every year on 14th March "Pi Approximation Day" is celebrated by maths enthusiasts from around the world.
Pi representing the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. The day provides an occasion to appreciate the beauty and usefulness of mathematics.
What better opportunity than having a meet and greet with like minded people. With the added bonus, but NO OBLIGATION of food: pizzas, round tomatoes and cucumbers all on the menu and relevant for the theme of the day.
Where: Pizza Hut Restaurant, London Road Retail Park, Carlisle, CA1 2PD
When: Friday 14th March, 2025
Time: 13:00 to 14:00
All are welcome ... old and new, it's a good chance for a chat and a chance to swap geocaching stories, tips and hints. I also ❤️ travel bugs so if you have any to discover or ones that need moving on bring them along. I've a few to bring to the event.
Please indicate the number of your party in your "Will Attend" log so I can confirm the numbers with the venue and book a large enough table/s.
Note: There is no requirement to purchase food or drink to attend this event!
UPDATE: In order to get the the geocaching souvenir unfortunately attending an event doesn't count. You need to look at ? marks to find and log a Mystery Cache between 14 to 17th March 2025.
