MOE-GT #18: Colorful Campus
Category: Marion's Murals
Fairmont State University is a college known for its art and creativity. Many of the murals you will visit on the Geocaching trail such as the two at Palatine Park are designed and painted by students of FSU. We invite you to visit campus and check out all the art that can be found in the central area of campus. To find and open this geocache, you will need to visit several murals, using the clues below. Two of the murals are located inside, but both can be viewed through the windows in the event the building is closed during your visit.

TO FIND THIS CACHE you will need to explore several different areas on campus and answer a variety of questions about the artwork found here. Each location is listed in the waypoint section below, but letterbox instructions have also been included, as well as a checker to verify your answer.
Start at the posted coordinates and enter the Falcon Center. As you enter, there will be a large mural on the wall to the left. Answer the following questions:
ABC = What three-digit number can be seen on the Fairmont State campus police public safety badge?
Proceed through the Falcon Center and continue down the steps and out the door to waypoint two. Look at the bricks surrounding the Victory Bell to answer the following question. Don't forget to stop and grab a picture for GC7B7KB!
D = What roman numeral number follows William H. Harrison?
Continue walking through the main area of campus. Once at waypoint three, walk through the tunnel and answer the following questions:
EF = What is the home score of the Fighting Falcons on the mural celebrating FSU's 150th anniversary?
G = How many people are shown walking in the film reel murals?
H = Near the end, how many red hearts can be seen on the white "WV Teachers" flag?
After exiting the tunnel, continue on the sidewalk, keeping the silver sculpture to your left. About 200 feet from the tunnel you'll find a food pantry box. You can find your prize hidden here.
To obtain the lock combination perform the following equation: (((ABC x D) + EF) - G) / H
