This cache is located at the summit of Mount Eliza. Despite being very dry in the summer months, Mountain View reserve is home to many resident kookaburras, eastern rosellas and the occasional tawny frog mouth. The traditional Boonwurrung name for the mount is Berringwallin. The mount was given its European name in 1836 after Captain William Hobson's wife, Eliza Elliott.
The cache is a camouflaged film canister (the kind commonly found in most households pre the 2000's). It is snug in a tree (which tree exactly you will have to find out for yourself). Happy caching!😊
