Stacja kolejowa w Leżajsku według klasyfikacji PKP ma status dworca regionalnego.
Budynek dworca wybudowano w 1896 roku, 30 września 1899 zakończono prace przy budowie linii kolejowej łączącej Leżajsk z Przeworskiem i Rozwadowem, a linię otwarto 14 stycznia 1900 roku. Obiekt utrzymany jest w galicyjskim stylu, a ze względu na walory estetyczne objęty nadzorem konserwatora zabytków.
W latach 2011–2012 przeprowadzono gruntowny remont zaniedbanego dworca, inwestycja została sfinansowana z budżetu państwa i środków własnych kolei państwowych. Uroczyste otwarcie kompleksowo wyremontowanego dworca miało miejsce 3 sierpnia 2012.

About station
The railway station in Leżajsk according to the PKP classification has the status of a regional station.
The station building was built in 1896, on September 30, 1899, work on the construction of the railway line connecting Leżajsk with Przeworsk and Rozwadów was completed, and the line was opened on January 14, 1900. The building is maintained in the Galician style, and due to its aesthetic values, it is supervised by a conservator of monuments.
In the years 2011-2012, a thorough renovation of the neglected station was carried out, the investment was financed from the state budget and the state railways' own funds. The official opening of the comprehensively renovated station took place on August 3, 2012.
