Inspired by and following the success of Beardman75's event Let's Clean Up The Park held on 23/09/2023, it felt like good timing to return to the area and pick up litter from the park and nearby beaches.
Where: Ebenezer Park, Coral St, Tweed Heads NSW 2485.
When: 08:30 - 09:30 hr, Sunday 9/02/2025. Note for Qld-ers: 07:30 - 08:30 hr.
[Note: The CO will be present at the event location for the scheduled event duration.]
Suggested items to bring:
- Covered-in shoes;
- Hat and/or sunglasses;
- Sunscreen;
- Gloves;
- Grabbers;
- Water, 2-3 litres (or more if it's a hot day); and
- Snacks, fruit, energy bars, etc.
I will bring garbage bags, needle-friendly disposal boxes and some gloves c/- Clean Up Australia. There is plenty of grassland and bushes/shrub areas nearby, and the nearby sand beaches has had litter and plastics washed ashore. I suggest that we clean up the rubbish across the following area.
I will work with the local council to manage rubbish disposal, particularly for any larger items we collect.

- This event is subject to weather, and should there by significant rain or storms forecast, then this event may be postponed due to safety reasons. Notice will be provided by Saturday 8/02/2025 17:00 hr should this occur.
