Another cache to celebrate the birthday of my other child on his mighty 5th!
Having tried to place this Cache in January when his birthday was, it was unsuccessful even though his sisters cache was in the same woods! Who knows! Maybe God's plan was always to place it at one of His many churches.
This glorious church in the village of Hillfarrance stands among a lovely church yard surrounded by some beautiful fields that you can cross to walk between villages in the parish area.
The church of the Holy Cross is part of the Vale benefice home to many delightful old churches (and a new one!) sat among great examples of Gods creation. If anyone is interested in visiting it the church or any others in the area for worship or marriage and various functions, details can be found on church founder or just Google the church names!
There are caches placed in and around 3 of the other churches in our benefice which lead us to place a cache here as its first. The first time we visited this church I played modern worship songs with the band that raised the roof at Easter.
The public footpath leads right through the church yard and a short detour will allow you to find this camoflaged cache! Large and ready for swap and placements, please take a moment to re-camoflage.
While you're there, the church should be open, why not stop, reflect or leave a prayer request which will be collected and prayed for! Then head to The Anchor pub just down the road!
